Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor Job Summary We’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the top of the sales funnel through targeted outbound prospecting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth SaaS company, develop valuable enterprise sales skills, and work closely with a team of Account Executives and Marketing specialists. The ideal candidate has prior outbound sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities Drive outbound prospecting efforts through LinkedIn, email, and cold calls to generate high-quality sales opportunities. Build and manage a lead pipeline using tools like HubSpot, Apollo, or other CRM platforms. Conduct targeted research and craft personalized outreach for key buyer personas. Qualify leads and book discovery calls for the Account Executive team. Monitor key activity metrics, report weekly performance, and continuously optimize outreach based on data insights. Keep current on SaaS trends, product developments, and the competitive landscape. 1–2+ years of experience in B2B outbound sales or lead generation (SaaS experience is a plus). Proven track record in cold outreach and meeting KPIs like booked meetings or qualified leads. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in a remote work environment. Comfortable using CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), email tools, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Self-driven and goal-focused, able to work independently or with remote teams. Tech-savvy with a natural curiosity for learning and explaining SaaS products.
