JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a driven and high-energy Business Development Representative for outside tech sales in managed services. (In other companies this person could hold the title of Account Executive, Sales Executive, or Outside Sales Representative.)
In this role, you will join a collaborative sales team that’s dedicated to growing our client base and maximizing IT solutions for our clients. You’ll establish and manage your own book of business, working closely with your clients to introduce them to the wide range of managed services offered by Verus and our expert technical teams. By building strong relationships and taking the time to understand each client’s unique technology and business needs, you’ll deliver tailored solutions designed specifically for them.
To be successful in this role, you should be detail-oriented, proactive, and an excellent communicator. You’ll need to be goal-driven and confident in generating your own leads, while also demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to engage senior decision-makers. Success in this position requires persistence through outbound sales cycles and a deep understanding of customer needs. Familiarity with managed services, especially in cybersecurity, networking, or other IT solutions, is a strong asset. Experience with CRM platforms, navigating long sales cycles, and maintaining a customer-first approach will further set you up for success.
