YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Business Development experience within the Enterprise and Commercial segment, particularly managing prospects from Australia
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales related environment
  • A competitive mindset, with a hunger and ‘self-starter’ commitment to overachieve and succeed
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills; you should be a great writer, speaker, and most of all, listener
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferable

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a pure hunting sales role and includes engaging with prospect organizations of all sizes, complexities and needs. You will work with key internal stakeholders and groups - including sales & product managers, industry sales directors, and marketing. You will be responsible for identifying, uncovering and qualifying opportunities that contribute to a significant proportion of the pipeline development for sales in Australia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with prospects and clients to understand business and organisation challenges and pain points
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop a list of target prospects
  • Generate high-value sales pipeline through both strategic and targeted prospecting into Commercial or Enterprise accounts that lead to bookings revenue for Zendesk
  • Leverage tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, 6sense and Lusha to build your prospecting pipeline
