Description

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Lead to drive Auterion’s growth in Northern and Eastern Europe’s defense and public safety sectors. In this high-impact role, you will partner with sales leads in developing and executing a strategic go-to-market plan, working closely with executives to expand our presence and accelerate adoption of our cutting-edge technology.
Leveraging your strong industry network, you will engage key defense stakeholders, identify and qualify high-value opportunities, and lead them to successful deal closures. Partnering with our Customer Success team, you will guide clients from their first validation of Auterion’s technology to large-scale operational deployment, shaping the future of autonomous systems in defense and public safety.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Master’s degree (MSc) or equivalent in a relevant technical field, such as autonomous robotics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic consulting within the defense and public safety sector, with a strong focus on autonomous robotics or unmanned systems.
  • Established network within the European defense ecosystem, particularly in Northern and Eastern European/NATO countries, including the Baltics, with a proven ability to engage with government agencies, military organizations, and industry leaders.
  • Proven ability to translate customer needs into tailored technology solutions, guiding defense clients from initial engagement to full-scale deployment of autonomous systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, drive strategic initiatives, and represent Auterion at high-level industry and governmental engagements.
Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Auterion in the European defense sector, aligning with the company’s ambitious growth objectives and the evolving needs of defense and public safety stakeholders.
  • Leverage your industry expertise and network to establish and expand relationships with key defense organizations, government agencies, and industry partners, identifying opportunities to integrate Auterion’s technology into mission-critical operations.
  • Drive a high-impact sales pipeline, setting and achieving clear quarterly order intake and revenue targets while ensuring long-term business sustainability and growth.
  • Own the full customer lifecycle, from initial engagement to large-scale deployment, ensuring seamless adoption of Auterion’s technology while collaborating closely with internal teams, including engineering and customer success.
  • Represent Auterion as a strategic thought leader in autonomous robotic systems for defense and public safety, effectively communicating the company’s value proposition to governmental, industrial, and political stakeholders at key industry forums, defense exhibitions, and policy discussions.
