This is not just a sales role. We’re looking for someone who will develop and lead the sales process itself, shaping how we engage with clients from initial contact through adoption and expansion. QUALIFICATIONS

  • A technical degree (Engineering, Geoscience, or related field) is an asset, though not mandatory with strong industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or field operations within the oil and gas industry.
  • Deep understanding of upstream production operations; experience with Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs) is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to design and implement a sales process, not just follow one.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and storytelling skills tailored to both engineers and executives.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to inform strategy and track KPIs.
  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and client success.

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

Your primary mission is to build meaningful client relationships and a repeatable sales process that drives adoption of our unique product across new and existing accounts—starting with clients using Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs) in oil production.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs), providing technical guidance and consultation to clients and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to uncover opportunities where our product can add measurable value.
  • Identify and qualify prospects, focusing on oil and gas producers operating ESPs.
  • Work closely with application and technical teams to align solution delivery with client needs and site-specific conditions.
  • Design, document, and refine a scalable sales process—including client engagement, value discovery, proposal development, pricing strategy, and onboarding.
  • Track the client journey and proactively identify opportunities for solution expansion across additional assets and operations.
  • Deliver compelling, solution-based presentations and proposals to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
