Position Purpose: The Business Development Specialist will support the organization with the ongoing business development activities and implementation of growth initiatives with our partners. Key duties will include management of current alliances and contracts, reporting and governance. You will develop and maintain key customer relationships across multiple channels including Allied Health, Aged Care, Hospitals, Optical and Hearing Industry. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Build a pipeline of partnerships which enable Amplifon to acquire new customers Drive growth across existing customers, while adding new customers (primarily B2B) Manage key client contracts, reporting and governance requirements, and continuous improvement of service delivery and SLAs Establish strong and effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders Utilise your understanding of commercial and financial value drivers to deliver growth Work with ONE AU businesses to develop solutions to address the most pressing business problems Attend corporate meetings, industry and trade events as required Experience and Qualifications: Essential Qualifications Healthcare Experience in Australia A strong, well‑established network across Primary and Allied Health, as well as key ancillary sectors including aged care, hospitals, health insurance, and major optical chains. 5-10 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, relationship management and account management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team (including leading specific workstreams or projects), using your skills to influence outcomes Essential Experience Client and relationship management Financial modelling for new investments and growth opportunities Responding to bid and tenders Preparing client proposals, business cases, and responses to bids and tenders Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills which enable you to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively Desired Qualifications Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. MBA, Health, Commerce, Economics, Marketing or Sales) Desired Experience Curiosity and an ability to think creatively to identify and analyse potential growth opportunities (for both new investments and existing businesses) High-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work autonomously.
