We are searching for a Business Development Specialist that is motivated, self-driven, and thrives on making connections while promoting the credit union's mission. The Business Development Specialist will represent GCEFCU professionally and stay current on all credit union products, services, and procedures. This position will be located at our Mortgage and Insurance building. ** The Business Development Specialist is an entry level position** This position requires regular travel using Credit Union vehicle. A valid driver's license is required for this position. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Event Coordination & Outreach: Schedule, coordinate and attend appreciation lunches and events to promote credit union benefits to employees of schools. Serve as a liaison with assigned districts to maintain a strong, positive relationship. Responsible for collecting event details, assigning staff, and ensuring all logistics and materials are prepared. Member Engagement & Product Promotion: Promote credit union products, services, and current promotions to prospective and existing members. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of offerings and make personalized recommendations to provide quality member service. Assist members with opening their account(s) and follow up as needed to ensure satisfaction Inventory & Materials Management: Monitor promotional merchandise inventory and notify Business Development Coordinators when stock is low. Assist with placing orders and maintaining a clean, organized storage area. Department Support: Assist Business Development Coordinators with preparing for and attending events. Tracking & Reporting: Responsible for tracking outreach efforts in various platforms, including CU-Force, Calendly, and Outlook. Utilize Glide to create and track promotional codes. Other Duties: Performs other job related duties as assigned. EOE Disabled/Veteran
