Business Development Specialist: West Coast   In this role, you will consult with non-profits and municipalities throughout the West Coast of the US, selling communication products such as monthly or quarterly print and digital publications, websites, and more.  You are driven by generating new opportunities, winning new customers, and retaining lifelong relationships with the customer base you’ll manage.   You will partner with our local production facility in Las Vegas, NV to ensure our high-quality print publications are delivered on time to your accounts.   Form a long-term career at LPi with unlimited potential to build your territory and communicate your customers’ missions!    What will make you successful:  * Passion and drive to negotiate and close opportunities for new and existing customers maximizing your earning potential and exceeding your sales goals * A strong comfort level with technology, CRM software, and screen sharing software * Ability to gather, clean, and analyze territory sales data to provide actionable insights identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies * Collaborate with the Advertising Sales Management Team to assess market value for new potential customers. * Contacting and visiting key stakeholders at each account yearly to maintain lifelong customer relationships and provide the support they appreciate * Thorough knowledge of business development practices and skills, in addition to advertising and print industry standards * The ability to create and maintain records in a CRM to qualify potential new customers, schedule presentations on LPi’s products and services to key decision makers, and turn established prospects into closed/won accounts * Ability to travel overnight within the multistate territory up to 60% of the time   COMPENSATION & BENEFITS  LPi is committed to the health and wellness of our employees.
