If you love the auto industry and working with cars this job is for you!  The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining business growth with national fleet account, franchise dealers, bus dealers, OEMs and any other key target accounts. In addition, you will build relationships with the sales and other departments to successfully drive the business in a harmonized manner.     Essential Job Functions and Duties:  * Drive relationships & business opportunities through various channels * Analyze client needs, opportunities, current & future market trends to drive responsible opportunities/business/growth for the company. * Develop & maintain a working knowledge/understanding of competitors (incumbents/others) * Represent the company at industry events as needed. * Identify opportunities to be involved in industry events (trade shows/training/product development/etc.)  * Collaborate with supply chain, sales engineering, marketing, & engineering teams to find solutions that will meet/exceed the clients requirement.  * Maintain all related contact & opportunity information within CRM system. * Other duties as required. Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements: * Bachelor’s Degree preferred * High School Diploma & equivalent five (5) years plus experience in OEM business development environments and their related areas required * Minimum of five (5) years of “hands on” sales experience and customer relationship management.   * Strong knowledge of vehicles platforms (van/lite truck/suv) & understanding of upfitting  * Ability to analyze and develop accurate conclusions to support business opportunities based on key data.     Skills/Abilities: * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. * Solid verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills are required. * Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. * Able to work independently as well as with a team and collaborate with internal and external customers. * Maintain a valid driver’s license.    Physical Demands/Work Environment: * Able to function capably in an office environment using standard equipment (telephones, fax machines, computers, copiers, etc.)  * Must be able to complete office-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching) as needed.  * Experience working remotely and independently.  * Ability to travel as needed. * Participate in required company safety programs, trainings, and PPE guidelines.
