Job Description Business Development Specialist About This Job As a Business Development Specialist at NIQ, you will be the first point of contact for prospects exploring our consumer intelligence solutions. You will play a critical part in driving business growth by identifying qualified leads, nurturing interest, and creating high‑quality opportunities for our sales teams. Responsibilities Learn continuously to develop into an industry and NIQ solutions expert. Effectively pitch NIQ products and solutions to decision makers by understanding client needs and demonstrating the value of our offerings. Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries to determine sales readiness before passing opportunities to sales. Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, social channels, and events to engage with target accounts and schedule meetings with key stakeholders. Use prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Lusha, SalesLoft, MS Dynamics CRM) to research and build targeted lead lists. Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in the CRM system. Monitor key KPIs including lead generation volume, conversion rates, and outreach activities. Prepare regular prospecting performance reports for sales management. Collaborate closely with sales partners to ensure lead quality and support conversion into pipeline opportunities. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of sales or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in fast‑paced, customer‑focused, performance‑driven environments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities. Excellent researching, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. Comfort using tools such as MS Office, MS Dynamics CRM, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Lusha; ability to quickly learn new systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
