JOB DESCRIPTION

Hiring for a full-time, salaried position at an established engineering firm in the Colorado Front Range that specializes in structural and architectural remediation/repairs, building forensics, and consultation related to existing and new residential and commercial design. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, proactive professionals with strong interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven ability to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and strategically grow a professional services business. This position plays a critical role in building and maintaining connections with insurance adjusters, attorneys, contractors, architects, property managers/HOAs, and other industry professionals.
We operate in a decentralized structure with no physical office but frequent remote communication to maintain strong collaboration and team unity. REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the engineering, construction, architecture, and/or insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing bids in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities/events simultaneously.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, and other relevant business development tools.
  • Must be based in Denver or Colorado Springs areas, or willing to relocate.
  • Must have a valid driver license. Some travel within Colorado and occasional out-of-state travel is required.
  • Position requires candidate to work remotely from their home office when not conducting business development visits or attending monthly team meetings.
