Job purpose The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Job Responsibilities Identify and research potential new clients in the food and beverage industry. Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand market share. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings and capabilities. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new clients. Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. Track and report on sales performance, and market trends to management. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business. +2 years of sales or account management experience. Proven track record of success in sales acquisition, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and business development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers. Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to changing priorities.
