TEAM DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ACCELERATION TEAM

The SAP Customer Experience organization is launching an exciting new team who will be laser focused on building top-of-the-funnel demand with a focus on competitive replacements within the SAP ERP install base. The Business Development Acceleration Team will be responsible for working with regional sales teams to identify top ERP customers to target as part of a structured demand program.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a strong understanding of the CX competitive landscape and how to influence customer decision-makers.

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in the Customer engagement/Marketing/CRM business
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives
  • Excellent written communication, technical writing experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Background in sales, marketing, business development, or consulting
  • Experience in or familiarity with the Customer Experience software market (SAP CX, Salesforce, Microsoft CX, ServiceNow, Oracle CX, HubSpot, Commerce Tools, etc.)
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and drive outcomes
  • Comfortable with fast execution, feedback loops, and working cross-functionall

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Fluency in English, any other language an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred.

Responsibilities

THIS TEAM WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Researching target customers to understand customer priorities and key contacts
  • Developing an account-specific proposal to highlight the business benefits of SAP CX for this ERP customer
  • Aligning with the regional AEs to execute the customer-specific proposal
  • Reporting and analytics on the end-to-end process, including pipeline generatio

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a key member of the Business Development Acceleration Team, you will be primarily responsible for executing core demand generation activities. You will support the development of customer-specific proposals that clearly communicate the value of SAP CX solutions, tailored to each target account’s business priorities

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Align with regional Account Executives (AEs) to identify customer targets
  • Research targeted customers to surface key initiatives, priorities, and executive decision-makers
  • Edit and customize SAP CX business benefit messaging to match specific customer needs
  • Leverage and tailor pricing proposals based on customer context
  • Create individualized customer proposals using SAP’s content library and research insights
  • Deliver completed proposals to sales teams for review and iterate based on feedback
  • Track proposal outcomes and collect data to support KPI measurement
  • Ensure high-volume, high-quality proposal generation in a fast-paced environment
