POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a proactive, results‑driven Business Development Supervisor to expand our client portfolio and drive new revenue opportunities. You’ll identify and cultivate relationships with corporate, educational, and event‑planning clients, tailor proposals to their needs, and partner closely with our Sales and Operations teams to deliver outstanding service.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in transportation, hospitality, or events industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Self‑starter with a strategic mindset and high sense of urgency.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit client sites or industry events.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Research and target prospective clients in conventions, corporate commuter programs, tour operators, universities, and school districts.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with decision‑makers—event planners, transportation managers, and corporate travel coordinators.
  • Proposal Development: Craft compelling proposals and presentations highlighting Sun Diego’s value proposition, including safety standards, fleet capabilities, and service flexibility.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop territory plans, set targets, and track KPIs (quote conversion rate, pipeline velocity).
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to inform pricing strategies and service enhancements.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed client expectations on every trip.
