POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Development Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide support to the Business Development Team to improve efficiency and increase our capacity to pursue sales and business development. The position is expected to grow in responsibilities to directly contribute to the achievement of sales objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years in an administrative sales and/or customer support role
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Legally entitled to work permanently in Canada
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of sales quotes, proposals, contracts, and presentations
  • Qualify and track leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, and other sources
  • Maintain customer and sales data in APS database
  • Coordinate and manage trade shows
  • Coordinate press releases and client communications
  • Support campaigns including digital outreach
  • Coordinate Sales and Marketing platform content for website and social media
  • Coordinate travel calendar for customer facing teams (sales, support)
  • Coordinate sales-related customer inquiries, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction
  • Assist with organization of APS Users Conferences and workshops
  • Coordinate with the Support Team for APS training courses
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging industry trends
  • Assist with the preparation of regular sales reports and presentations for management review
  • Develop and conduct customer surveys and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and identify potential opportunities, including upsell
  • Manage and maintain sales documentation
  • Coordinate with Support/Dev-Ops and Engineering teams to support customer onboarding
