ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re on the hunt for a true marketeer. This is a Business Director role for someone who’s got the experience to hit the ground running, the mindset to think bigger than the brief, and the leadership instincts to galvanise teams around great creative work. This is a 6 month FTC to cover from Mid August onwards.
You’ll be joining VML London to lead one of our most creatively ambitious accounts with a few different brands. Each brand has its own voice, challenges and creative opportunity—and each of the client leads are refreshingly bold in their ambitions.
This one is Healthcare, but this is not your typical healthcare brief. You’ll find big strategic questions, serious creative firepower, and clients who want to make work that stands out. This is a playground for someone who thrives in strategic complexity and loves digging into creative ideas.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading this Healthcare Client business within the agency, working in close partnership with a passionate and experienced Managing Partner.
  • Steering the development of campaigns across global and local markets, from digital activations to ATL to content strategy.
  • Championing creative excellence, from pitch to production—bringing energy, clarity, and drive to the process.
  • Collaborating with an exceptional WPP team of account handlers, strategists and creatives, who are as passionate as you are about the work.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to senior clients, helping them define and deliver long-term brand growth.
  • Being a cultural contributor within VML, bringing positivity and perspective every day
  • Line Managing a team of up to 7 within Client Services within this client team
