Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Business Excellence Engineer located in Shanghai Jiading. Reporting to the Head of Operation the Business Excellence Engineer role involves… What a typical day looks like: Applying and deploying Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization. In charge of eliminating waste and create value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment. Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process. Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs. Identify, Drive and Yokoten Best practices-based Kaizen projects on the accord timelines. Conduct Industrial Engineering lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean culture thru out the organization by guiding and facilitating Continues Improvement Lean Deployment. Perform assessment of Continuous Improvement Maturity Tracker (CIMT) Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps. Participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects. Facilitate Continues Improvement Transformation activities through Kaizen, workshops, and Small Group Activities. Comprehend and use Center point portal as depository to enable data research and cost saving effectiveness. Achieve Industrial, Lean & 6 sigma training & Certification Compose the regular newsletters covering the related kaizen activity progress and achievements. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, related field. At least 5 years of related experience Workable oral English capability. Demonstrates functional, technical skills as well as customer service attitude (external and internal). Teamwork participation to enable project improvement. Willingness to work flexible hours when needed Comprehends the strategic & tactical impact of the function across sites. Previous experience leading a project (internship or in education is acceptable) Financial, research and statistical skills to resolve conflicting goals. Demonstrate good level knowledge of Industrial Engineering Lean & Six Sigma methodology.
