Description
Lead and coordinate global Financing teams, setting standards and best practices; drive cohesion, consistency, and knowledge‑sharing across sub‑products and clusters. Build and maintain a robust operating framework for planning, governance, and execution, aligned to Banking's Business Execution model. Drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives that advance Financing's growth, resilience, and client outcomes Represent the business in various committees and forums, ensuring Financing's priorities, risks, and outcomes are well‑articulated. Partner with Finance on revenue outlooks, headcount planning, annual budgets, and capital allocation; Own expense discipline and optimization across Financing. Partner with HR on personnel matters, including headcount planning, performance ratings, write-ups, and promotions. Drive the Financing technology book of work; prioritize requests, align stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of platforms and controls. Collaborate with Middle Office and Operations to resolve escalations and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and mitigate operational risk. Engage proactively with Internal Audit; co‑create actionable remediation plans and sustain audit‑ready operations in regularly reviewed product areas. Act as the Financing product lead within the centralized Risk & Controls framework, providing in‑depth product and process expertise to strengthen control design and execution; Serve as point person for Data Remediation efforts, New Product Approvals, Volcker, and broader controls and reporting. Liaise with ESPA on business communications, and draft executive talking points for internal and external/media engagements, leveraging deep product knowledge and market insight. Contribute to broader Banking Business Execution programs (e.g., deal management processes, scorecard design, etc.), bringing Financing's voice and needs to enterprise solutions. Plan and host town halls and off‑sites; foster inclusion, engagement, and a high‑performance culture. Builds trust and alignment with senior partners (Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Middle Office, Audit, Markets, etc.). 15+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in Banking (business management, client‑facing, or consulting), preferably in financing or capital markets Experience delivering strategic programs and complex workstreams across large, matrixed organizations; Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Product knowledge across Financing sub-products ECM/DCM), and familiarity with booking mechanics, controls and regulatory reporting. Consistent team orientation and relationship‑building across functions and geographies; Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated strength in problem solving, analytics, execution, and written/verbal communication; thrives under pressure with high accuracy and attention to detail.
