Location: Cornwall (Home based but must be able to attend regular client meetings in person)
Hours: Full time preferable but part time will be considered.

If you are passionate about supporting the growth of businesses and the economy of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, this is a wonderful opportunity to have a direct influence and make a positive impact. If you have skills in any of the following areas, please read on:

  • Delivering outstanding business support to ambitious businesses

  • Utilising broad range of the marketing mix – traditional and digital tools, performance marketing, strategic and tactical communications
  • Delivery to both B2B and B2C businesses

We are looking for a Business Growth Adviser (with marketing specialism) to join our team of experts. The role requires you to work first hand with businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, delivering hands-on support to encourage growth in the region.
The role is varied every day and very rewarding and will see you engage with both early stage and established businesses, helping them shape the development of successful growth plans aligned to client business and finance strategies. It may be related to the optimal investment of finance and budgets, leadership development or simply being a “critical friend” supporting senior leadership teams to devise and execute their strategies.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in growing businesses, change management and associated disciplines.
As well as expert knowledge, you will need exceptional client facing skills and the discipline to work within programme parameters to achieve the required impacts. As team members providing skills and support, you will work closely with OI Advice colleagues to deliver the programme to the highest industry standards.
