QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 – 7 years of financial services experience
  • University degree in related Business or Marketing field
  • Proven business development and consulting experience
  • Familiarity with Sun Life’s distribution model, products, programs and services
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset
  • Some travel required

ROLE SUMMARY

To deliver on our promise, our team’s focus is to help advisors grow their practice through an end-to-end Client engagement program, enabling them with content, tools, support and knowledge to deliver holistic advice to Clients.
As a Business Growth Consultant, you’ll deliver best in class Client engagement programs and consulting support. You’ll enable advisors to attract new Clients, create magnetic Client experiences, increase their capacity, capability, productivity and ultimately, sales growth. You’re an innovative problem-solver, curious, collaborative and look for opportunities to create the next great solution. You meet advisors where they are and understand their day-to-day needs. You’ll be part of a dynamic, innovative, and results-driven team of professionals, who have a recognized brand within our advisory channel.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Deliver and inform a best-in-class program that enables advisors to proactively connect with Clients, with the data, tools, process, and tactics to build Client engagement throughout the advisor-client relationship, to help advisors grow their business.
  • Deliver support to help advisors attract new Clients and onboard them successfully into their practice, along with support to optimize the Head Office Leads program opportunities and best practices.
  • Consult with and coach advisors and field leaders to increase adoption of the program, tools and resources, and gain feedback.
  • Develop and deliver workshops to advisor cohorts to implement the program support, including attracting and nurturing new Clients, Client onboarding, Client nurture and engagement strategies, Client segmentation, thought leadership, tools, and resources.
  • Coach top advisors with 1:1 customized solutions to meet their unique business needs.
  • Through data analytics and feedback, uncover opportunities within our distribution channel and advisors’ businesses, and provide strategic direction on how to best execute these opportunities.
  • Provide input on the program and tool development, based on advisor needs and feedback.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on head office programs, and influence and leverage initiatives for integration and alignment with the program.
  • Develop and lead innovative test and learn initiatives that deliver on our objectives.
  • Provide feedback on campaign performance and advisor engagement immediately and throughout campaigns to enable us to pivot and adjust, to achieve results.
  • Triage within Business Growth for other advisor needs.
