We are looking for a Manager, HR Business Partnership to join our team. Reporting to the Director, People Planning and Strategy,
and as a key member of the management team, the Manager, HR Business Partnership will oversee a group of HR professionals in
a Center of Excellence model that is responsible for the successful delivery of strategic organizational programs and operational
responses to people matters. The group serves and supports leaders across the organization to achieve their short term and
long-term business objectives using systems thinking, data driven insights, innovative solutioning, and a results-oriented growth
mindset.
The successful candidate will be a proactive, results driven people leader who brings creativity, innovation, enthusiasm, and a sense
of urgency to the role. This is a role for a candidate who is inspired by building new systems and bringing new ways of working as a
strategic partner to the rest of the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a four-year degree from an institute of recognized standing in an appropriate discipline, complemented by a
    minimum of nine years of directly related experience, demonstrating progressively greater responsibility in a leadership

capacity. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in a wide variety of HR competency areas. The ideal candidate will bring experience

working as a leader in a Center of Excellence Human Resources delivery model in a large, complex, unionized environment.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and achieve required objectives.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with

internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated effective organizational, problem-solving, planning, systems thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated use of sound judgement and reliable decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high degree of self-motivation and business acumen.
  • Strong project management skills with a good understanding of various methodologies and tools

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to design and implement forward-thinking HR solutions that meet the distinctive

challenges of the business and drive the successful delivery of expected outcomes.

  • Direct, lead, and inspire the Business HR team, contributing to a high-performing, strategic function that can meet the current

and future needs of Manitoba Hydro.

  • Provide consultation and advice on key issues across the full suite of human resource related matters, including providing

feedback to and collaborating with all areas of HR.

  • Ensure the alignment of HR strategy, policies, and programs with the attainment of business goals and future requirements of

the enterprise.

  • Provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring, support employee development, and be a champion for enhancing employee

experience.
