JOB SUMMARY

The Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for International Business Exchange (Data Center) is a strategic security leader partnering with Data Center operations, facilities, engineering and product teams to enable business objectives while maintaining a strong security posture. This role bridges security and operations, ensuring that security practices are embedded into Data Center processes, systems, and designs in a practical and scalable way. The Data Center BISO fosters a positive security culture, drives initiatives that reduce risk and increase operational resilience, and enables the business to deliver secure and innovative solutions to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity, engineering or related technical roles with significant exposure to operational technology or Data Center operations
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, tools, frameworks, and architecture relevant to OT and data center environments
  • Experience embedding security into operational and engineering processes, including access control, monitoring, and system hardening
  • Knowledge of security compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 1/2 Type 2, and NIST frameworks
  • Proven experience leading incident preparedness, response, and mitigation across complex operational environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications preferred

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 119,000 - 179,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Data Center leadership to advise on security decisions that enable business objectives and operational excellence
  • Understand Data Center business goals, products and operational processes to develop and lead a roadmap of security initiatives
  • Embed security into Data Center operations and systems, influencing engineering, operations, and facilities teams to adopt practical andsustainable controls
  • Drive adoption and continuous improvement of security standards, policies, and best practices across Data Center operations
  • Maintain and communicate Data Center risk posture to leadership and teams, fostering a proactive and positive security culture
  • Collaborate with InfoSec, BISOs and the CISO to align security initiatives across the enterprise and share best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physical security and operational partners to identify, prioritize, and reduce risks.
  • Contribute to incident preparedness and response, ensuring coordinated and timely mitigation while minimizing operational impact.
  • Support audit certifications and regulatory compliance activities, e.g., ISO or SOC by providing evidence, guidance, and operationalcontext
  • Build reusable artifacts, playbooks, and guidance to enable Data Center teams to integrate security seamlessly into daily operations
