Description
Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the modernization project. Act as or coordinate with the subject matter experts (SMEs) for business processes and data domains within Corporate Services Standardize definitions, metrics, and business rules across systems to support unified reporting and analytics. Support data governance and compliance by enforcing policies, managing metadata, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met. Identify and resolve data-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize risk and rework. Document business processes, data flows, and dependencies to support migration and ongoing operations. At least 6 years of experience as a Data Steward or SME and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience developing and maintaining data ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic modeling in enterprise environments. Possess or gain a deep understanding of business processes and data domains relevant to the division. Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance best practices. Experience with metadata management, data lineage, and master data management. Experience with business intelligence tools, automation platforms, and AI/ML use cases is a plus.
