Description

This role is focused primarily on the tracking and merging of Food & Beverage, hotel, hospitality, customer experience, and gaming data, providing insights into sales trends, cost efficiency, customer behaviour, and operational performance.

Leveraging data-driven insights to optimize Food & Beverage operations by developing dashboards, streamlining reporting, and guiding strategic decisions through cross-functional collaboration. Driving menu optimization, cost control, and operational efficiency through data-driven analysis of sales trends, vendor pricing, labor metrics, and compliance insights. Leading data-driven forecasting, reporting, and budgeting processes to optimize Food & Beverage operations, inform strategic decisions, and support financial planning across all casino sites. Leveraging customer insights and loyalty analytics to optimize promotions, enhance VIP experiences, and drive data-informed decisions through automated reporting and KPI development. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA’s priorities.

  • Successful completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Power BI Data Analyst Associate and/or Looker Business Analyst is an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Data Science, Technical Support, Enterprise Applications and/or Statistics.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and querying databases using Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Knowledge of extract, transform, load (ETL) processes and data modeling in data warehousing.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python and R for data analysis.
  • Relevant experience in data science, technical support, enterprise applications, or statistics is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an asset.
