Amica Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst in Lincoln, RI.
Duties:
Utilize business intelligence tools to design, construct, test, and deploy self-service reports and visualizations. Review and document new and existing data sources to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization. Write querying code to extract and manipulate data from database systems. Design and implement data management procedures, organize raw data and write technical requirements. Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies and errors and provide timely resolutions. Identify and analyze significant trends that affect the organization and their key drivers to optimize business decisions. Ensure the quality and accuracy of data results and analytic methods through testing, validation, and follow best practices. Translate and summarize data results into written reports, tables, graphs and charts to convey information to management. Provide advanced technical support for analytics consumers. Telecommuting permitted within the MSA.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field of study, plus 3 years of experience in Business Analytics or related occupation.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

• Business Intelligence Tools including Power BI;
• Share Point list, Power Point or Power Automate;
• Data collection, data validation, data analysis, Business Intelligence reporting and data visualization; and
• Project management using ServiceNow (SNOW), Microsoft Visio, or Microsoft Excel.

Must have 1 year of experience with:

• Implement machine learning or simulation techniques to gather and report insights using data models

Must have any amount of experience in each of the following:

• MicroStrategy;
• Strategizing investment portfolio using analytical reporting of performance, attribution and allocation;
• Bloomberg, FactSet and BondEdge application data solutions and reporting specialization; and
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services to implement data projects strategies using Secure File Transfer Protocol jobs, Vendor integration, AWS lambda, and AWS S3 Athena.
