Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting the Core Business and Statistical Reporting function of the Accounting Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Accounting/Mathematics or related field of study.
- 4+ years’ experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong research, organizational and time management skills.
- Creating and maintaining SQL logic, understanding data tables and statistical models and provide technical guidance with requirement development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide technical support to members of the Accounting Department to assist in streamlining workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Oracle Cloud data platform applications through the development and maintenance of key SQL queries and key spreadsheets
- Provide operational support for requirement writing and analysis
- Act as liaison between technical and business teams in day to day activities
- Assist other team members with various projects as necessary including ad hoc quantitative and qualitative analysis of financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for internal and external customers
- Review current procedures to develop and implement process improvements
- Responsible for collaborating on various projects with stakeholders both within Accounting and from other departments
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
