We’re looking for a results driven Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team and support our clients across a wide range of technologies.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a BI Analyst at Tech61, you’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, design reporting solutions, and present data through modern visualization tools like Power BI. Your work will directly support strategic planning, operational improvements, and client growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization best practices. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets to drive business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and visual.
• Experience working in or with managed service providers (MSPs) a plus.
• Power Query / DAX expertise
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Familiarity with Python, R, or advanced statistical tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud data services

• Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Translate business questions into data models and clear visual narratives.
• Collect, clean, centralize and analyze large datasets from multiple systems and platforms.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through predictive and comparative analysis.
• Support decision-makers with KPI tracking, performance metrics, and ad hoc reports.
• Design relationships and hierarchies within data models to optimize performance and usability.
• Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
• Leverage AI models and applications to generate impactful business insights and advanced reporting.
• Maintain documentation of client systems and procedures.
