Job Title: BA / BI - Consultant Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Experience: 5+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Business Analyst to act as a key interface between business stakeholders and the BI delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, defining reporting logic, and translating business needs into actionable BI solutions. This role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to transform complex business requirements into well-defined functional specifications for dashboards and reports. The BI Business Analyst will collaborate closely with business units, data engineers, and development teams to ensure that reporting solutions meet organizational goals. The candidate will play a crucial role in defining KPIs, data structures, reporting metrics, and ensuring high-quality BI deliverables that support decision-making. Key Responsibilities Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs. Document detailed business requirements, KPIs, metrics, and analytical use cases. Translate business needs into functional specifications for reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. Define data requirements, reporting logic, and data mapping for BI development. Identify and document business rules required for ETL processes. Work closely with offshore development teams to clarify requirements and provide functional guidance. Review developed dashboards and reports to ensure alignment with business expectations. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business users and validating deliverables. Assist in prioritizing tactical reporting requests and managing reporting backlogs. Ensure BI deliverables support data-driven decision-making and align with organizational objectives. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Business Analysis within BI or Data Analytics environments. Proven expertise in requirements gathering, KPI definition, and analytical reporting. Good understanding of data modelling concepts and ETL processes. Experience working with BI platforms such as Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar reporting tools. Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical documentation. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience facilitating workshops and requirement discovery sessions. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise BI environments. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. Exposure to Agile or iterative BI development methodologies.
