JOB SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team, someone who looks beyond the numbers to uncover the story they tell. In this role, you’ll translate business questions into analytical requirements, conduct data-driven analysis to uncover insights, and identify opportunities that support strategic decision-making.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working in fiber/related telecommunication industry a plus.?

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of programming languages commonly used in databases and business intelligence (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA), as well as statistical tools (e.g., R) for data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Large Language Models (LLM) in the business intelligence environment.
  • Experience in corporate or operational finance a plus.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical expertise with the ability to gather, structure, and analyze large datasets while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to self-review work for accuracy, while maintaining a broad, strategic perspective.
  • Highly motivated to contribute to a high-growth, performance-driven team; naturally curious and purpose-driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Capable of working independently with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Create and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for department leaders, senior management, and investors.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns, and present insights through clear, impactful visualizations.
  • Develop statistical models leveraging both internal and external data to uncover growth opportunities and support strategic planning.
  • Automate data processes to enhance scalability, accuracy, and efficiency in recurring reporting.
  • Maintain and improve project cost estimation tools, financial models, and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to define key performance indicators and develop targeted reporting solutions.
  • Conduct audits of internal systems to uncover inefficiencies, data inconsistencies, and areas for process improvement.
