JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a data-driven and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to help us turn complex construction data into clear, actionable insights. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain compelling dashboards and visualizations using Power BI (or similar BI tools) to support field operations, project management, and executive decision-making across our construction portfolio.
You’ll work closely with data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate raw data into clear, actionable insights. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for presenting data in intuitive and impactful ways.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI, or similar tools, to track construction KPIs, including cost performance, schedule adherence, productivity, safety metrics, and resource utilization.
  • Write and optimize DAX expressions to support calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and operations leads to define reporting requirements and deliver user-friendly insights.
  • Build and refine SQL queries to extract data from various systems (e.g., ERP, project management software, field data collection tools).
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across all reports and dashboards.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and help non-technical users interpret and use data effectively.
  • Work with data engineers to improve data models and pipelines for reporting purposes.
  • (Bonus) Experience with Palantir Foundry to integrate data sources and create operational workflows and visualizations.
