As a Business Intelligence Analyst - Operations, you will play a central role in developing analyses that support construction operations, directly linked to the operational platforms and ERP systems used in our projects. Within a team specialized in project analytics, you will contribute to the creation of dashboards, support construction site teams, and utilize data from our integrated systems (project management, cost, procurement, quality, documentation, etc.). You will be part of an analytics service center, providing structured support to operational teams to promote autonomy, data reliability, and informed decision-making both in the field and at headquarters.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business intelligence, data analysis, management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Excellent proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools (Power BI).
  • Mastery of best practices in data modeling.
  • Experience in SQL and data ingestion and transformation from various sources.
  • Strong skills in managing internal clients, communication, and simplifying analytical concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously.
  • Initiative and proactivity: going beyond simple requests to propose relevant and innovative solutions.
  • Leadership in influencing clients by challenging requests when necessary, identifying improvement opportunities, and proposing relevant solutions beyond expressed needs.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence in deliverable execution.
  • Experience in the construction or manufacturing sectors would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Azure Synapse and Palantir Foundry would be an asset.

  • Model and structure data to effectively meet analytical requirements and optimize query performance.
  • Diagnose and resolve data quality and integration issues.
  • Anticipate and recommend improvements to business intelligence systems and processes.
  • Manage client expectations and implementation timelines across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ensure governance and documentation of data assets and dashboards.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by guiding users and team members, actively identifying issues, and proposing innovative solutions to optimize processes and analyses.
