For more information, visit wppmedia.com Role Summary and Impact As a Business Intelligence Analyst within the Data & Intelligence team, you will be a hands-on individual contributor focused on developing, maintaining, and enhancing our core dashboard and reporting capabilities. This critical role requires you to translate complex data into clear, actionable, and visually engaging dashboards, making data accessible to a wide range of stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the wider Investment team and business stakeholders across the group to understand their analytical needs and transform raw data into intuitive, interactive BI solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in building high-quality, user-friendly dashboards and reports, fostering a culture of data driven decision making and ensuring data integrity within our BI outputs. This role is key to transforming raw data into strategic insights, delivering quantifiable information, and driving data informed engagement that directly contributes to our business commitments. Your contributions will significantly enhance our ability to monitor performance, identify trends, and empower decision making through accessible and impactful business intelligence tools. Responsibilities: Architect, build, and continuously improve interactive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau) to present KPIs, track business performance, and highlight actionable trends. Utilise expert level SQL skills to query, extract, clean, and transform data from various complex data sources (e.g., Snowflake) to support dashboard development, ad hoc analysis, and reporting requirements. Partner closely with business stakeholders across the Investment team and wider group to understand their analytical needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective, data driven BI solutions. Actively contribute to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data within BI deliverables. Adhere to and champion data governance best practices in reporting and dashboard design. Contribute to the development and promotion of best practices in data visualisation, dashboard usability, and reporting standards within the Data & Intelligence team and among business users. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, present data insights effectively, and guide users through interactive dashboards. Critical thinking abilities, with an aptitude for interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. Proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from large datasets (e.g., in Snowflake or similar data warehouses). Ability to write efficient, optimised, and robust queries for ad-hoc requests and dashboard data sources. Proven experience with leading Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for dashboard development, data visualisation, and building interactive user experiences, with a keen eye for design. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong ownership of deliverables and a proactive approach to identifying data gaps, reporting improvements, and opportunities to enhance existing dashboards. A growth mindset, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, a commitment to continuous learning, and a passion for leveraging data to deliver significant business value. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics) or equivalent practical experience.
