We’re looking for a hands-on data engineer who turns complex healthcare data into clean, actionable insights for clinical and operational leaders. You’ll be the primary engineering partner for medical group analytics with significant exposure to pharmacy (including 340B), radiology/imaging, and population health/value-based care. You’ll build and maintain the data pipelines and models behind our Power BI dashboards, ensuring accuracy, performance, and trust in our metrics. Job Summary: Collaborates with operational leaders and stakeholders to deliver analytic solutions to address operational objectives and drive business impact. Provides end users with an optimal experience. Leverages a strong understanding of the business in their area of focus in combination with their technical skills to guide solutions from inception to fruition. Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop/support analytics solutions. Serves as a subject matter expert for assigned areas of focus. Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and other reporting tools. Develops and maintains code across multiple data platforms (SQL server, Data Bricks, etc.) to extract meaningful and accurate information from complex and massive data sets. Obtains and maintains Epic certification in Clarity/Cogito/Caboodle as required for area of focus, and at direction of leader. Manages work in sprints, defining clear objectives with success criteria in each two-week period, or, dependent upon work, manages via Kanban. Ensures data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks. Performs user acceptance testing. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture for enterprise analytics. Supports continuous improvement in analytics methodologies and processes. Participates in relevant meetings for projects, knowledge sharing and may provide technical documentation and/or instruction to operation leaders. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in a related field, or combination of combined education and experience EXPERIENCE Three years of data engineering experience Three + years of hands-on experience with SQ, SSIS, Python, and GitHub PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Data engineering/analytics in a complex data environment Working experience with Databricks Working experience with Azure Data Factory Working knowledge of the pharmacy or value-based care domain within a healthcare environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
