JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Assistant to join our BI team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of data analysis and databases, who are eager to grow their technical expertise in business intelligence. The BI Assistant will work closely with the BI Manager to support reporting, maintain data processes, and contribute to BI-related projects and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
· Competency in SQL, including the ability to write and interpret basic to moderate queries and stored procedures, as well as perform standard maintenance tasks.
· Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to data integrity.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
· Ability to work independently, handle multiple assignments and collaborate effectively within a team.
· Exposure to Power BI, DAX, KQL, Web APIs, or Python is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Automate is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

· Execute and monitor ETL jobs as well as scheduled SQL queries.
· Refresh reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
· Provide support for ERP data processes and troubleshoot minor issues.
· Assist with user management tasks in SQL Server, including setting up accounts and permissions.
· Participate in ongoing database maintenance, such as managing backups and monitoring performance for both On-Premises and Managed Instance environments.
· Support BI pipelines in Azure Synapse Studio under the guidance of senior team members.
· Contribute to the architecture of Web API connections with support from senior staff.
· Assist the BI Manager and BI Solutions Manager with ad hoc data requests and projects.
