A Brief Overview As a member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, the Business Intelligence Developer plays a key role in building and delivering high-quality BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. This role works closely with senior team members to translate requirements into dashboards, reports, and data models, while ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability. While the core focus is on technical delivery, this role increasingly bridges business context and analytics outputs, ensuring that dashboards, reports, and insights accurately reflect underlying business processes and tell the right story. Location Hyderabad (On-site) What You Will Do BI Solution Development & Delivery * Design and develop dashboards, reports, and semantic models using standard BI tools (e.g., Power BI) * Translate defined business and technical requirements into intuitive, performant and scalable BI solutions * Ensure accuracy and consistency of underlying data, KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic across deliverables Data Analysis & Visualization * Assist in analysing data to model ideal customer profiles, identify key trends, patterns, and insights across business domains. * Translate data findings into compelling visualisations that aid understanding of complex datasets. * Support business insights through the development of descriptive and diagnostic reporting, selecting appropriate visualisations to identify trends, variances, and outliers. Data Modelling & Validation * Build and maintain intermediate-level data models * Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks * Ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs Collaboration with Senior Team Members * Work closely with senior BI developers, data engineers, and analytics leads to understand solution design * Execute against technical requirements and contribute to design discussions * Support integration of BI solutions with upstream data pipelines Business Context Alignment * Develop understanding of business functions, processes, and key drivers * Ensure dashboards and reports reflect the correct business narrative and context * Validate that outputs are not only technically correct, but also meaningful from a business perspective Stakeholder Interaction * Participate in discussions with business stakeholders for requirement clarification and demos (as required) * Support translation of business requirements into BI artefacts under guidance Quality, Performance & Governance * Optimise dashboards for performance and usability * Adhere to enterprise standards for BI development, visualisation guidelines, documentation practices, data governance and security * Ensure deliverables meet quality benchmarks with minimal rework * Stay current with industry trends in BI, visual analytics, and enterprise reporting. Education Qualifications * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field * Master’s Degree with Analytics or Data Science specialization preferred Experience * Typically up to 2 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data reporting roles * Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)          * BI Certifications like Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL‑300), Tableau or Looker certifications preferred License and Certifications Skills and Abilities * Strong SQL and intermediate data modelling skills * Ability to connect technical outputs with business context * Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking * Effective communication (especially in structured environments) * Understanding of data warehousing concepts * High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Travel Requirements * Minimal Travel Required   Work Environment * Work in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office work setting.
