BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER Location: Remote or Hybrid (as applicable) POSITION OVERVIEW The Business Intelligence Developer at U.S. Legal Support is responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting reporting and business intelligence solutions to meet the information needs of the organization. This role supports one or more business units by preparing analysis and reporting that drive business decisions while ensuring data accuracy and consistency. The ideal candidate can effectively collaborate with multiple teams across the organization, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner. 📍 Location: Houston - Hybrid - Must live in Houston area 🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ---------------------------------------- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Collaborate with stakeholders to perform data and process analysis * Obtain stakeholder input and buy-in on reporting and data initiatives * Define reporting and data requirements and translate them into technical solutions * Synthesize data and feedback from users, clients, and management * Contribute to both short-term and long-term business intelligence initiatives * Develop action plans and support accountability for deliverables * Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams, including market analytics * Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools * Develop, analyze, and improve processes, data structures, and reporting models * Ensure objectivity and accuracy in reporting processes and data outputs * Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions * Clearly explain complex data findings and their business implications ---------------------------------------- REQUIREMENTS * 3+ years of SSRS report development experience * 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) * 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server experience with strong knowledge of database structures and best practices * 1+ year of Tableau development experience * Demonstrated experience with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions * Experience with data management and reporting architecture * Strong technical documentation skills * Self-motivated with strong attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communication skills ---------------------------------------- SKILLS & COMPETENCIES * Technical Capacity * Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking * Communication Proficiency * Time Management
