JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly analytical Business Intelligence Lead to join our team and bring insight into our global Supply Chain management and decision-making. Leveraging FTAI large data sets and LLMs, the candidate will develop key indicators on parts prices, demands, repair vendors, parts scrap rates, inventory levels globally and across shops and more. This role is critical in providing business recommendations and direct actionable actions to optimize FTAI large and diverse inventory and improve operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Financial Data Analyst or similar role
  • Experience in inventory management analytics, financial forecasting, and operational decision support
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Supply chain environments experience is an asset

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC:

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec

Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial and operational data related to engine parts inventory, identifying trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Develop data-key indicators to guide the supply chain team decisions
  • Support the continuous development of LLMs and tools to process and extract insights from our data sets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across supply-chain and other disciplines (i.e. finance, operations) to integrate data from multiple sources and improve inventory forecasting
  • Monitor inventory levels for all production sites and field supports
  • Monitor inventory spend, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals and identifying areas for efficiency improvement
  • Enhance data collection processes to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline inventory management
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reports, models, and system integrations
  • Measure vendors and internal repair shops performance, provide recommendations as needed
