Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Specify, build and optimise data models and integration processes
  • Develop scalable and efficient data models, implement robust integration processes capable of handling large datasets, and provide comprehensive documentation for data models and integration processes, including technical specifications and user guidelines
  • Create dashboards, reports and analyses
  • Design and deploy user-friendly dashboards that provide real-time insights
  • Generate detailed reports with visualisations that address key business questions and performance indicators and conduct analyses that uncover trends and patterns, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making
  • Identify and resolve issues, optimise system performance
  • Develop a systematic approach for identifying and resolving technical glitches and performance bottlenecks
  • Implement strategies to enhance system performance and create monitoring frameworks that continuously assess system health and report performance metrics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure governance and best practice
  • Engage stakeholders to collect reporting requirements, document needs, and align with strategic business goals
  • Establish governance processes and advocate best practices

WHAT YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:

  • 5+ years experience in SAP BI or data analytics roles
  • Post-secondary Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field
  • Certifications in SAP Datasphere, SAC or SAP BI/BW preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud: story building, data models, user access
  • Financial analysis and the ability to present conclusions to senior stakeholders
  • Data quality validation and performance tuning
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Data analysis skills – financial and non-financial
  • Proven experience at developing BI tools in a complex international or diverse multi-functional environment
  • Proven experience as a “self-starter” - ability to work independently on a daily basis with minimum supervision with an ability to use own initiative to identify practical solutions to resolve issues that arise
