As a BI specialist (m/f/d), you will further develop planning and forecasting systems and build an automated reporting system for the management of the Networks business unit in Mannheim.

• They independently design and further develop dashboards in Microsoft Power BI. 
• They automate processes with control-relevant information.
• They are responsible for reviewing and implementing potential applications of artificial intelligence and big data.
• They conduct ad-hoc analyses on specific topics and visualize business data.
• They provide support in data extraction and the creation of ETL processes and develop database applications (SQL, MS Fabric).

You bring the following with you:

• Completed Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of project experience in the development and enhancement of BI/Data Warehouse structures, as well as sound expertise in the BI environment.
• Extensive experience in financial and accounting processes, as well as in controlling and KPI-based analyses.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SAP (ERP/BI), SQL, and possibly Python.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of highly demanding, analytical tasks

YOUR TASKS

• Global management and development of self-service reports in Power BI
• Responsibility for the Power BI architecture
• Creation and optimization of SQL queries for reporting
• Training and support for BI team members and end users
• Resolving issues with report updates and performance
• Ensuring data security through RLS and the principle of least privilege.
• Collaboration with sales, marketing, management and IT on data requests
• Coordination with the e-commerce department regarding product data, promotions, and new configurations
• Support for global shop management and process coordination

YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in the field of data analytics
• Proficient use of tools such as Excel, SQL and Zoho (CRM, Books, Analytics, Desk), WooCommerce, SharePoint, Asana, Jira and Confluence
• Advanced knowledge of PowerBI concepts such as data modeling, visualization, Row Level Security (RLS), and PowerBI and Fabric administration.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Power BI. A PL-300 certification is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
