Role Overview We are seeking a Business Intelligence (Commercial) Analyst to partner closely with Commercial, Sales, Product, and Operations teams to drive revenue growth and business performance through data-driven insights. This role focuses on translating data into actionable commercial strategies — identifying revenue opportunities, optimising merchant performance, improving sales effectiveness, and enabling leadership decision-making. You will act as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders, ensuring insights are not only accurate but impactful and aligned with growth objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Performance & Revenue Insights Analyse sales, merchant, and transaction data to identify growth opportunities and revenue drivers Track and optimise key commercial KPIs including acquisition, retention, activation, and monetisation Provide insights to improve merchant performance, pricing strategy, and campaign effectiveness Support quarterly and annual business planning with data-backed projections and performance analysis Sales & Business Enablement Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to support Sales, Partnerships, and Account Management teams Analyse sales funnel performance, conversion rates, and pipeline health Identify gaps and opportunities in go-to-market strategy Provide performance insights to support incentive design and target setting Strategic Decision Support Translate ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches Partner with leadership on performance reviews, growth initiatives, and strategic priorities Deliver clear, executive-ready presentations and storytelling backed by data BI & Reporting Design and maintain dashboards using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) Standardise commercial metrics and definitions across the organisation Improve reporting automation and reduce manual analysis Experience 3+ years in Business Intelligence, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Analytics, or similar roles Experience supporting Sales, Commercial, or GTM teams in a high-growth or tech-driven environment Strong understanding of business performance metrics and revenue models Technical Skills Strong SQL proficiency Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) Experience analysing sales funnels, customer cohorts, and revenue performance Python or R is a plus, but not mandatory Core Competencies Strong commercial acumen and business judgement Ability to influence stakeholders through data storytelling Proactive problem solver focused on impact, not just reporting Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
