SAIC's Air Force and Combatant Command Business Group seeks motivated, national security-focused students from UMass Lowell to join our team as a Business Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in business and economic development, including customer and community engagement, contract research, business case analysis, marketing, and event planning. We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented individual passionate about national security. This role supports UMass Lowell, Hanscom AFB, the Defense Industrial Base, MassCyberCenter, CyberTrust MA, local schools, and various non-profit organizations. Internship Details: Paid Internship. Hybrid remote with onsite work at Wannalancit Mills (660 Suffolk St, Lowell, MA 01854) and UMLARC (55 Old Bedford Rd, Lincoln, MA 01773). Responsibilities: Cyber Center Support: Develop business models, governance structures, customer outreach, and marketing. Event Support: Assist in organizing and executing conferences and competitions. Proposal Support: Help prepare funding proposals. Hanscom AFB Support: Aid marketing and communication efforts for contracts. Brand Ambassador: Promote SAIC products locally. Performance Tracking: Monitor engagement and generate reports. Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks. Ideal Candidate: Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about national security. Required Qualifications: U.S. citizenship. Enrollment in a degree program at UMass Lowell in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Completion of at least 2 years of college coursework. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude.
