The Business Lead Analyst you will play a pivotal role in managing and reducing EUC and ITeSS risk across Risk Management. This role ensures operationalization of all relevant policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory obligations, while providing oversight governance and strategic influence to diverse stakeholders, and transformation execution oversight.Business Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business.
The role involves representing Risk at the enterprise level, driving policy alignment, implementing robust governance routines, and partnering across functions to embed effective controls around EUC and ITeSS throughout the organization. The role requires developed communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or strategy consulting in complex, global organizations
• Proven track record of delivering timely compliance and quality assurance in a regulatory or risk management environment within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
• Strong experience with risk management principles and regulatory remediation programs
• Must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
• Ability to prioritize is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.
• Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive
• Desire to improve processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
• Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
• Experience of working with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
• Team player and relationship management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
• Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design
• Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of the SDLC

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

• Serve as the Risk subject matter expert (SME) for EUC Policy and Standard, ITeSS Standard, and CSDLC
• Partner with Accountable Business Owners and EUC owners to ensure policies are understood, implemented, and sustained.
• Represent Risk to ensure consistency and drive policy execution, share best practices, and drive consistency across Citi.
