Responsibilities

ROLE:

Work to ensure quality service in the Business Services Department; maintain financials and files on business loan requests; analyze financial statements of business members to recommend loan structures, risk ratings, and approvals; ensure business loans are in compliance with Board Policy, regulatory guidelines and all applicable laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for gathering the appropriate and complete business and personal financial information needed to provide a complete set of information necessary for CCU to make good credit decisions.
  • Analyze member financial information to recommend appropriate action, including, risk ratings, approvals, denials or counter offers, to business loan officers, business services management, and business loan committee.
  • Track and conduct annual business loan reviews, rate reviews and business loan renewals on existing business loans. Monitor business loans to assess credit risk and assign ongoing loan risk grades.
  • Discuss member financial goals and needs. Analyze member financial needs in order to discuss appropriate credit union products and services. Where needed, discuss and explain loan structure with members to determine that we are providing an appropriate solution to member’s needs.
  • Prepare and present Business Loan presentations, both verbal and written: The Business Loan Analyst will present loan analysis and recommendations to loan officers, Business Services Management, and Loan Committee.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Business Loan Policy in order to ensure member financial information, loan risk ratings, and loan structures are in compliance with policy.
