OVERVIEW:

  • We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join TD’s Canadian Fraud Management’s Strategic Initiatives team as L10 Business Management Specialist
  • This role is heavily on the business management function, and will be key role in the development and implementation of telling a collective cross department results story
  • Must be able to plan, lead/manage and/or oversee a diverse set of work activities requiring alignment across multiple areas in Fraud and our lines of business
  • Lead/manage the collection of results, insights and materials to tell an accurate and fulsome OKR/KPI month, quarter, semi-annual and annual report outs
  • Facilitate key discussions and provides thought leadership to executive audience including, but not limited to KPI/OKR results and/or roadmap and/or strategic planning/deliverables/frameworks/short to long term goals etc.
  • Leverage specialization with industry, external/internal, enterprise and business awareness; recognizing and anticipating emerging trends and identifying issues and opportunities and recommending action to senior management
  • Work effectively with multiple teams across broad functions and domains, influencing and aligning others as needed to meet deadlines
  • In this role, you will be responsible to produce and curate materials, department strategy, results with full traceability to senior leaders across TD.
  • This person will need strong impact and influence skills, analytical skills, presentation building and delivery skills and are able to be very detail-focused and adaptable to change depending on audiences.
  • The applicant will be required to work with extreme independence, identify the right approaches/materials to gather and build the department report outs, while also able to self-manage their time to meet tight timelines and concurrent asks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Fraud Industry and Financial Crimes knowledge in Canada and USA
  • Demonstrated continuous Improvement / process improvement
  • Undergraduate Degree and/or 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Track record of impact and influence, critical thinking, problem solving, presentation (examples include executive level presentations and storyboarding, data validation/quantification)
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong Microsoft suite skills (Excel, PPT, word)
  • Confidence and ability to work independently end-to-end.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 7+ years relevant experience

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to business management activities for own area
  • Actively manage relationships with corporate and/or control functions and ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements
  • Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank
  • Assess / identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required
  • Lead relevant meetings or committees and related deliverables / outcomes
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements through to decision.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
  • Evaluation and analysis of material to make sound decisions and appropriate use scenarios.
  • Collaborate with partners and provide recommendations to ensure business needs are met and pulls together a collective story.
  • Escalation of issues to leadership in a timely manner
  • Own and complete relevant work packages through collaboration with multiple stakeholders, managing deadlines and adjusting to changing work priorities.
  • Design, monitor and report on the business management role and role strategy.
