As Business Manager of this co-located practice you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the business operations of a very successful and long established hospital. The hospital has been recently renovated and is equipped to the highest standard with 2 modern surgery theatres and a CT machine! In addition to offering routine general practice and emergency care, our clients also have access to onsite specialist medicine and ophthalmology services. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Business Manager for our hospital. As an integral leadership team member, the Business Manager will be responsible for business development, strategy, and operational and financial management, working closely with specialist veterinarians, hospital veterinarians, nurses, technical and support teams. This role is supported by a strong hospital management team and the broader support network of the Greencross Pet Wellness Company. Business Manager responsibilities include: Financial leadership, reporting and P&L responsibilities for the hospital Leading and building teams of industry leading veterinarians and nurses. Project management within the hospital Business strategic planning and execution Relationship building with our valued referring veterinarians Marketing and promotional coordination Liaising with other hospital managers to ensure appropriate alignment and promotion of the business group to maximise efficiency, profitability and productivity The successful candidate will have substantial business operations knowledge and experience and be an approachable and influential leader who desires to help others succeed and grow. The preferred candidate will bring a strong track record of experience in the veterinary industry. Postgraduate qualifications in a related field, such as business, commerce, business management or similar, will be highly regarded but are not essential.
