Job Characteristics: Responsible for overseeing project activities valued at $50 million or more domestically or internationally. Leads negotiations with internal or external clients; assists in the development of business plans, strategies and approaches to take advantage of the business opportunities. Manages vendor relationships. Provides subject matter expertise in areas such as risk identification, project scope, and resource allocation. Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Participates in budget development and evaluating how project plan changes impact cost and schedule. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors and management. Directs Program Managers and/or Program Analysts as required. Manages group of projects as part of a larger program. Managing a portfolio of projects/programs as part of a larger portfolio of projects across different areas. Education/Work Experience: Degree in Business, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or Operations / Supply Chain Management. 10+ years of experience in LSS, Finance or Supply Chain Management. 4+ years experience managing a portfolio of cross functional projects or programs. Independence Level/Reports to: Leads/manages project teams of 5-15 members. Is accountable for leading a # of projects across several business areas that all have different dependences. Drive change.
