We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Business Manager to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg.
As the Business Manager you will be primarily responsible for driving business focus as well as commercial and strategic aspects of Expleo’s operations. The Business Manager will sit in the operations management team, supporting senior management and enabling Expleo to function to continuously improve. We want to recruit someone with a demonstrable background in prioritising work and managing time effectively, including management of other internal stakeholders
Responsibilities:

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

• The development and supervision of operational and business administration procedures within the company
• Planning, management, reporting and improving of the support services enabling expleo to function efficiently and consistently improve
• Supporting the sales, professional services, and operations teams with operational and business administration
• Creation and coordination of sales, professional services, and operations templates to ensure a standardised way of working and reporting
• Assisting the management teams with meetings management, administration and reporting packs
• Management of the internal business administration
• Delegating duties for managing internal tasks and projects on behalf of the management team
• Negotiating new contracts with suppliers on behalf of the company

Essential skills:
The ideal candidate for this Business Manager role will have relevant experience of prioritising work and managing time effectively, including management of other internal stakeholders.

You’ll also need experience of:

• Delegating skills to assign tasks to the correct departments or Team Members within the business
• Working to internal and customer driven deadlines, with the flexibility to react to changes in business priorities
• Comprehending and summarising information including management and board reports

Experience:

• Strong business acumen, including comprehension of key business and operational reporting metrics
• Stakeholder management and communication skills
• Organisational, delegation and leadership skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
