Description

Hoffman Media is seeking a local candidate with experience in financial analysis, business compliance, management reporting, risk management and process improvement to fill the role of Business Manager/Analyst. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
· Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for executive leadership
· Prepare ad hoc financial reports for stakeholders and management
· Support budgeting processes and variance analysis
· Collaborate across departments to streamline accounting data flows and reporting
· Perform channel performance analysis to identify growth opportunities
Compliance & Governance
· Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
· Oversee sales tax compliance and reporting
· Maintain document retention policies and systems
· Perform various periodic business filings
Business Management
· Generate actionable insights from financial and operational data
· Create commission reporting structures and validation processes
· Design and implement enterprise-wide risk management frameworks
· Identify and implement operational efficiencies in the business office
· Support strategic decision-making with scenario analysis
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, risk management, or related roles
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
· Experience with system implementations and process improvement
· Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial concepts to stakeholders
