It's all about you We're looking for an experienced commercial all-rounder to Partner with our Executive Director for Financial Services. This is a new role that will drive operational excellence across our consumer financial services portfolio. What you’ll do and how you will make an impact. As our Business Manager, you will drive operational excellence and ensure strategic initiatives are translated into actionable results. You will maintain oversight of risk, compliance, and performance metrics across the department. Your responsibilities will include: Leading cross-functional initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring they meet strategic objectives on schedule. Analysing complex datasets to identify operational trends and proposing data-driven solutions to improve efficiency. Monitoring departmental KPIs to ensure the Financial Services team achieves its annual goals. Drafting high-quality presentations and reports for Governance Committees, the Executive Team, and the Board. Tracking and resolving action items from key leadership meetings with relevant stakeholders. Supporting the development and alignment of annual and quarterly OKRs for the FS team. Overseeing the FS Risk Management program, ensuring robust controls and swift remedial actions. Leading research into market trends and potential new Financial Services products to support future growth. We work together. Your team and the people you will work with... You will report directly to the Executive Director - Financial Services within the Commercial Growth function. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership, working inclusively across cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative environment. Your role is central to ensuring that the Financial Services department remains aligned with UW’s broader commercial ambitions while maintaining robust operational oversight. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience in business management, operations, or high-level project management within the Financial Services sector. Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate raw data into actionable business insights. Extensive knowledge of risk management frameworks and maintaining regulatory compliance. Exceptional communication skills, specifically a track record of creating compelling content and presentations for executive-level audiences.
