Position Overview: The Business Manager supports the Product Manager Infantry Weapons (PdM IW) by providing day-to-day acquisition and business operations management. This role is embedded with PdM IW leadership at Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Quantico, VA, and is responsible for ensuring disciplined execution of business processes, document routing, scheduling, reporting, and coordination across program management, logistics, engineering, and test functions. The Business Manager enables enterprise-level synchronization and directly supports surge management driven by testing, fielding, budget, and review events. This Position is Contingent Upon Award Anticipated Start Date: June 2026 Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established by the Government customer. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision (82% of employees’ premiums paid by the company, 25% towards dependents) HSA / FSA Medical Plans PTO Flexible Work Environment and Encourage Work/Life Balance 401K with Company Match Observes all federal holidays Professional Development/Tuition Reimbursement Program Annual Career Development Process Job Type: Full-time/Exempt Location: Quantico, VA (Onsite) Clearance Required: Active Secret Travel Requirement: Approximately 10% Position Responsibilities: Provide embedded front-office business support to PdM IW and Deputy PdM IW Manage routing, staffing, and tracking of acquisition documents, correspondence, and reports Prepare briefings, schedules, trackers, and decision-support products for leadership Coordinate Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and support workload forecasting across programs Support budget execution activities, Defense Travel System (DTS) travel processing, and administrative coordination Liaise with MCSC higher headquarters, PM Ground Weapon Systems staff, and external stakeholders Maintain awareness of surge events (SETRs, tests, fieldings, reviews) and assist in resource rebalancing Ensure compliance with PdM IW business processes and Government timelines Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced acquisition environment Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Project Understanding of DoD acquisition lifecycle and program office operations Professional judgment and discretion in high-visibility leadership environments Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related discipline (degree may be substituted with equivalent relevant experience) Experience supporting DoD or USMC acquisition or program management offices Familiarity with acquisition documentation, correspondence routing, and reporting processes Active Secret security clearance Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior experience at Marine Corps Systems Command or DoW Acquisition organizations Experience supporting Product Manager or Program Manager offices Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management Experience with DTS, SharePoint, and enterprise tracking tools
