Salary: $146,705 - $164,506 (Plus 12% Super)
Location: City Community Health Centre
Various locations including Canberra Hospital

Responsibilities

Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) provides health services directly and through partnerships with community organisations. The services provided range from prevention and treatment to recovery and maintenance and harm minimisation. Consumer and carer participation is encouraged in all aspects of service planning and delivery. The Division works in partnership with consumers, carers and a range of government and non-government service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
The Division delivers services at several locations, including hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, community health centres, detention centres, other community settings including peoples’ home. These services include:

Adult Community Mental Health Services (ACMHS)

Adult Inpatient Mental Health Services (AIMHS)

Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

Forensic Mental Health Services (FMHS)

Alcohol & Drug Services (ADS)

Justice Health Services (JHS)
The Business Manager is required to provide strategic support to the Executive Director of MHJHADS, undertake high level coordination, liaison, research and reporting and provision of advice on specific issues. The Business Manager is responsible for coordinating, driving and delivering a high standard of work, as well as leading a small, dedicated team in the provision of executive and business support. The position will also work closely with other Business Manager’s and Clinical Executives across CHS to effectively drive change.
